A research chemist who thought life should be more fun, went 12,000 miles away into mining exploration, sold encyclopaedias door to door (including three sets to blind people), got conscripted to Vietnam (but decided to come home instead), went into the family fruit import business (but didn't like 4 am starts), joined Saatchi’s and had a ball for decade and a half, got made redundant, started own business, got my life balance really sorted and then got offered a role I couldn't resist at Quickheart (which I now own).
